Jules Ndenga is the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Aviation Travel & Logistics Holding Ltd (ATL) since November 2017. ATL was established by the Government of Rwanda with the mission to bundle air transport businesses for sustainable growth of the sector. ATL is a holding comprised of five subsidiaries namely RwandAir Ltd, Rwanda Airports Company Ltd (RAC), Akagera Aviation Ltd, Rwanda Links Logistics Ltd (RLL) and Rwanda Tour & Events Ltd (RTE) covering most aspects of air transport services including airline, airports, aviation academy, air transport logistics, tourism, etc.
Before joining ATL, Jules served for five years in the Ministry of Infrastructure at policies, strategies and monitoring and evaluation level of the vision of the Government of Rwanda for infrastructure development. His last position was Coordinator of the Single Projects Implementation Unit (SPIU) when he was closely following up on major projects at identification and formulation stage, including the development of Standard Gauge Railway in the East Africa Community and Bugesera International Airport. Jules Ndenga’s earlier professional experience was acquired in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning during ten years (from 2002 to 2012) as the Project Manager for infrastructure projects financed by European Union in Rwanda. The portfolio monitored was covering a wild range of projects in infrastructure; mainly national road network, public and social buildings, water treatment, etc.
Jules is a Civil Engineer by background and holds a Master of Science in Project Management.
